I am in an LVN program and our clinicals are in "skilled nursing facilities" aka nursing homes. On my first day, I was assigned with two other students (Rick and John) to the Alzheimer's locked section. We hadn't even met all of the patients, when someone in the front of the facility yelled "Gail has escaped!!". Rick, John and I ran out following the woman who had called out about Gail. The guys were faster than me although John's water bottle flew out of the pocket of his pants and he stopped to pick it up. Rick ran super fast and passed up the woman chasing "Gail". He ran up to the woman and took her arm and said "Ma'm, you'll have to come with me". She turned around and the woman who was also chasing "Gail", said "That's not Gail!!"  The unsuspecting, faux "Gail" looked confused and scared. She said "This is so bizarre!" And I am sure it was! There were four people chasing her, three in white (we have to wear white scrubs as students). We looked like we were chasing an escapee from a mental institution! In couldn't have been any funnier unless we had butterfly nets lol.
