For the past three years i have been taking prerequesites for nursing. I have yet been accepted in a program. My NLN tests scores have been to low and cognitive test have been low. Also i am forgetful should i go into some other career? What should i do? Have ample experience in the nursing fileds as a CNA and pt care tech.

Are you trying for LPN or RN. I ask because perhaps if your going for your RN yoiu may consider first trying LPN it might be a little easier for you. Then you'll still have all your prereqs to carry over towards your RN when you feel your ready.

I tend to agree with PrincessQ. I was told that pursuing your LPN first can be of benefit in a situation such as this. It was explained to me by an instructor that in pursuing an RN by way of LPN can be beneficial to some because things tend to move at a little slower pace than first year RN/ADN. I would suggest a visit to an academic advisor to help give you direction and options. Best of luck!
