Posted about 3 years ago The sweet man who needs help transferring was laying on the floor when I went down the hall. I asked him "What are you doing down there?" He looks up at me, with his hands behind his head like he's relaxing on the beach, and says "I liked the view better than the altitude" Another pleasantly confused lady spent her days cruising the halls looking for her kids. She'd say to me "You know I'm 96 years old and I can't find my son" I gasped and said "I don't believe it! You can't be a day over 65!" What crazy things have patients said to you? |

| Posted about 3 years ago during his stay on the medial unit while going through etoh withdrawl including what ever mental state he was in... i came into the patient's room and saw him reaching for the iv pole... when questioned, he stated that it (the iv pole) was a fishing pole... |

Hysterical!
And she'd laugh every time and tell me how sweet I was. We'd play that game 10-15 times each shift. It was funny everytime.
