Hello all! I am a recent graduate of practical nursing. I passed my nclex and am currently pursuing the job search. I have been a cna for 13 years so this all is a little new to me. I am used to walking in, interviewing and getting hired. From what I am learning, it is a little more difficult for the nursing positions to say the least. I am located in Indianapolis. The job search here is difficult because most of the facilities hiring are wanting only graduates of accredited schools. I made the mistake of attending a non-accredited school. I honestly didn't think it would matter for the lpn positions. I am currently enrolled to bridge over to earn my asn. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
