I am currently a NREMT-P (paramedic) who is curious about bridging over to RN.  I've worked in EMS (in Missouri) my entire career and have only taken the certification courses necessary to attain my EMT and then Paramedic licenses without having ever stepped foot in a college/university.  Is there a "fast-track" to bridge over to RN in my situation or will I have to start from scratch since I have no college hours whatsoever?  Thanks for any help you can provide.

I doubt it, but best bet is to check the schools to see if their policy will count some paramedic training.

In NJ paramedics do get quite a few credits at a college as part of their training. EMT's do not. I never got any consideration for my 20 years as an EMT, or any of my recertification CEU's.

Thanks for the reply Eric.  I was afraid that's what I was going to hear.
