Posted about 3 years ago Hello! I currently am a high school biology teacher with a four year degree in Secondary Education Biology. I've already taken many of the prerequisite courses such as Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Genetics and other biology based courses. In addition I have a M.S. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction which I just recently earned in 2007. Additionally, I have a very young son at home and my husband does not work regular hours so this is something that needs to be considered as well. So what do you all think? What is the best route for me to take? |

| Posted about 3 years ago You will be trading down when it comes to jobs. Are you ready for shift work, weekends, holidays ( not being there on Christmas morning is esp. tough on a new mom), not having the summer off,NIGHTS, no union to back you up? I would think long and hard as to why you chose to pursue an M.S. Ed and now want to switch gears. Believe me when I tell you the grass isnt always greener....... |
