I graduated from the PN program in 2005, failed NCLEX twice and in Oklahoma you only have two years to take the test or you need to do a refresher course that takes up to six months to complete.  This refresher course cost 2500.00 and there is no kind of financial aid that I can find to help pay for this.  I have three children so it is very hard to just pull this kind of money out of my pocket and do this in six months.  I have searched everything to find a way to get my license without having to do this refresher here in Oklahoma and I did find out that I can take the NCLEX for Arkansas, but I would have to work for that state six months and then I could transfer my license to Oklahoma.  Can anyone help me out with this situation???
