Posted almost 3 years ago I am going to graduate next year with a BS in Allied Health and Science but I want to go into a nursing career. I want to be a nurse practioner. I will have alot of loans to pay off. Are there grad. schools I can go to that don't require an RN degree or could I take the NET and then be eligable for the NCLEX-RN exam?
PLEASE HELP!! |

| Posted almost 3 years ago I'm sure there are ways to take various courses to get them out of the way, but to become a NP you eventually will need a license as an RN, and therefore must pass your State Nursing Boards, which requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN or Diploma). |

| Posted almost 3 years ago Some schools offer accelerated MSN/NP programs for people who already hold a bachelor's degree. You just take the undergraduate classes you'r lacking before starting the graduate classes. Check out the program at Virginia Commonwealth University (www.vcu.edu) for an example. |
