I trained as a nurse (RN) in London, England then moved to California.  I submitted my paperwork to the California State Board for Nursing in Nov. 2009, since then I have received my Interim Permit which has not been very useful and am still waiting on the board for ATT my NCLEX exam.  Does anyone know how long it takes to come through?   Nursing is such a changing profession, I am worried I will be out of opporation too long and will struggle once I start again (have been out now for 8 months).
